About us
Tracing our roots back to the beginning of the medical cannabis movements lead internationally by the well-known advocate and author, Jack Herer and his many affiliated organizations, Stormy Ray and the Stormy Ray Cardholders Foundation were originally established to educate and empower citizens to spearhead MMJ legalization efforts in Oregon by creating the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act (OMMA).
The SRCF has been effectively serving patients for more than 30 years under the same organization, the same EIN number, the same leadership and the same visionary mission, subsequently leading several states and millions of underserved populations to positive changes across multiple communities and countries.
The parent organization to the Cannalogix Foundation Research Institute (CFRI) and its joint-partnership with Compassion Center and the Center for Incubation & Findings Research (CIFR), the SRCF continues to leverage its resources efficiently to lead the conversation and make the greatest possible impact for patients around the world.
Our Vision
To showcase patient stories, and the voices of our most vulnerable populations to fully educate and empower leaders, Legislators and Congress to fully illuminate the challenges that MMJ patients are facing with regards to healthcare, housing, corrections and more to highlight compassionate solutions.
Our Mission
Founded by-patients, for-patients, in the name of patients to protect and facilitate the legal use of MMJ through research and education in order to provide patients a higher quality of life, Stormy Ray and the SRCF lead by example as they steer advocacy, research and education towards MMJ inclusion.
Positive Measurable Progress
After more than three decades of uninterrupted, unapologetic, and unfiltered advocacy for a higher quality of life for all patients, the Stormy Ray Cardholders’ Foundation (SRCF) and its research institute extention, the Cannalogix Foundation Research Institute (CFRI) continue to lead the conversation by remaining relevant, and serving on the forefront of disruptive innovation by leveraging conditional logic with more than thirty years of MMJ program development, empirical and demonstrable clinical data and tens of thousands of patients and patient outcomes, leading logical paths for medical and industrial cannabis.
